About Lore Package #1

Since this is the first package of lore that I am releasing, I wanted to start with the world’s theoretical foundations— what makes it tick. Make no mistake, I intend to thoroughly populate this world with magnificent contraptions, visceral characters, lengthy backstories, and whatever else is “cool”. But I don’t want to insert these elements, however cool they may be, without grounding them in the world’s logic. That requires a lot of very dry reasoning and articulation on the setting’s political, social, economic, and spiritual (and supernatural), concepts. 

Contained in this package is what I estimate to be a third of the world’s “theory”, along with the basics for the major regions, essential factions, historically significant characters, and some delightfully random features thrown in as well. The next package will be very similar, and should come out some time in the early summer.
